Primary responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and patient assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries across a diverse patient population.
  • Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, X-ray, and EKG studies.
  • Perform common office procedures, including suturing, splinting, and wound care.
  • Prescribe medications within California scope-of-practice requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and document encounters accurately in the EHR.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted California PA or NP license and applicable national certification.
  • Urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, or family practice experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and proficiency with common outpatient procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently in a collaborative setting.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
